My 2 year old son gives me a normal 2 year old tantrum that I would expect from him being 2 and all, but my daughter.... she is worrying me.  She just turned 1 on the 3rd of Sep. and she has SO much anger built up inside her!  When she gets frustrated, or upset, she throws her body to the ground, trys to bang her head on the tile, and doesn't care if it hurts or not.

I wasn't expecting this at 1 yrs old, because I didn't experience anything quite like this with my son.  Does anyone else have this problem?  Is it this severe?  I am in desperate need of some reassurance if anything.  I have scheduled her a dr's appointment to discuss this.... but I'd like some feedback until then :)

Thanks guys!

When my oldest daughter was around a year old she would throw herself on the floor and bang her head till it bruised.  I pleaded with her pediatrician that something was wrong with her.  The only only only thing that worked was ignoring her behavior.  I would pick her up and put her in her room tell her not to come out till she was a happy girl again.  Now she is three.  She is occasionally still moody and sometimes bangs her head.  Its not nearly as severe now.  I know what you are going through and sat back and cried for her and it sucks but ignoring the behavior seemed to work
