I should've wrote this 4 weeks ago, lol. But having a newborn and a out of control toddler who acts like a teenager, makes it hard to get on this computer like I use to get on. Anyway, I just wanted to brag about how proud I am of my dd who is btw, 18 months old. I thought that she may have forgot about the potty training technique and have to start all over again because I backed down on it after I brought my son home from the hospital. For 3 weeks, I was so tired and exhausted from all the crying he was doing, which he still does but I have all my energy to deal with it, lol. Anyway, I want to announce that my dd is officially potty trained during the day, but at home and she goes on the big potty, but I still use the little potty when we are upstairs in our room or in the basement watching some boring Barney that I record for her on the DVR. I haven't tried the public because I'm like a germ freak, and I don't want my dd sitting on public toilets. I know I'm gong to have to get over that, just not right now I don't sit on public toilets myself , as for in between nap (which she barely does anymore) and the night time potty training I thought that I should give her another month to be on the safe side, but she hasn't had any accidents on her own and what I mean by that is sometimes she would say she has to go potty and I ignore her (not purposely) then she'll go on the floor. So the beginning of next month I will start the in between and night time potty training. Also to whoever read my post give me some ideas of how often you wake your dd/ds up to go to the potty during their nap and bedtime. Also what is the best time to stop giving her something to drink before bedtime.
