The high protein diet is so over rated, it only causes depression, sleeplessness and day time fatigue.

I agree. I think the Atkins Diet is not the way to go. You can do low carb and eat any food just limit the carbs. Atkins is no fruit and ruffage. Just all meat and eggs, cheese-after two days I felt like a greasy spoon. Forget about it.
I participated, I am a personal trainer and holistic nutritionist. You have to have fruits and veggies for FIBER, something 73% of americans don't get enough of.
