So it is that time of year again when you pony up some money for those beautiful pictures to admire your child years from now.  And as I look as their package I laugh to myself because nothing ever seems to fit!  I will end up spending 35 dollars for three photos of my daughter (one for grandma, one for grandma and grandpa, and one for us) and 1 lousy class photo.  I mean really. . . is it worth it?  It has me thinking.

I've already started taking pictures myself for her birthday and christmas family photo (well I will start this year).  And her K year I went to Walmart (PCA) for those pictures, instead of her taking them at school.  On one hand it seems like such a waste, and on the other I think of being able to look back and admire my little girl in years to come.

What's a girl to do?

Yes, but then again, what price can you put on a memory?

Ugh,  I hate this time of year.  My oldest son is in sports (baseball and hockey),  so there are sports photo's at least twice a year.  Plus the school pics.  I haven't had family pictures taken in over four years, but how can I afford to when I have all these other pictures?!

I take the pictures myself, download them and order them online. Costs a fraction of the price and you know what you are getting!
