I was absolutely floored today at Walmart. This evening I was out running some last minute errands wiht my sons. I had both of the boys in sitting in the carriage, and all of a sudden this little boy maybe 1 1/2 or so walked up and grabbed on to my carriage. He had no shoes on, which irked me as well as his meandering the store. I mean honestly what the hell is wrong with people. It was 45* outside!

So I looked around quickly expecting a freaking out parent. Nope no one in sight. The little boy then let go of my carriage. And started to wonder off. I quickly scooped him up and brought him to customer service. The man there was calling on the walkie talkie initiating Code Adam. When all of a sudden his mother turned the corner with a 6 yr old boy in tow, and says Oh there you are. NO panic, NO tone! NO NOTHING! She was in the toy dept, I saw her. Looking at the toys prior to this, with no small child with her, a good 10 min prior. This kid was on the other end of the flipping store! WTH is wrong with people!?!

The store manager was appalled! I damn near hit the floor. He asked for my information so that the police could contact me if need be, they want to alert them for her negligence. I just couldn't believe this woman, she was emotionless.

I really hope that all turns out ok. The little boy did nothing but nestled up to me when i picked him up. I could have walked right out of that store with her kid and no one would have even given it a second thought.

I wish my walmart baby the best of luck in life along with his brother. I hope they both look out for one another!

OMG I would have just been absolutely hysterical had that been my kid. I hope they get that baby somewhere he can be loved and paid attention to for crying out loud. Mine were not even allowed out of the cart at that age, let alone wandering around

this is why people like that do not need to have kids. if that were me i would have been hysterical and freaking out.

i freaked out when one of my kids walked off with his brother and didn't tell me at a car show, first thing i did was find a cop to find my son. it ticks me off that anyone can have a kid, especially one like that
