Alright ladies, the deadlines for voter registration is quickly approaching. (You can check rockthevote.org for your state's deadline date.) Please register. And once you've done so, make sure you excercise your right and responsibilty as an American to get to the polls or mail your absentee ballot in! This election is too important to sit idle and watch the results unfold or to believe your vote won't count. This year every.single.vote for, or against, YOUR candidate will count. The race is close and we must do the right thing by getting out to make sure our voices are heard.
I don't care who you support, as long as you're making an informed decision about which candidate most closely matches your values and ideals. We can't be single-issue voters, we shouldn't vote because of a candidate's appearance & we shouldn't vote based on gender. Take a few moments to dig a little deeper into McCain's and Obama's foreign policies and healthcare & economic plans. Make sure you truly understand what each one stands for and how their polcies will effect the country, you and your family. Don't make an ignorant decision because you've always voted on one side of the fence. If, in this election, you decide the other party has better ideas and supports your theories better, by all means vote for that party.
Take your children with you when you vote. Show them you care & that you are protecting their freedoms and their futures. Please register and go to the polls this November and proudly make your voice heard!
