Hello everyone it's been awhile since I've been on, I just wanted to let everyone know I am a ~PROUD AIR FORCE MOM~ now, Chad my son is at basic at Lackland AFB, graduating on Halloween of all times. One of the weirdest things is to tell people I have a son in the Air Force. We all miss him like crazy, but I know this is gonna make my pain in the ass son, I real man. He has a  wonderful girlfriend, that he had to leave here, but he's also hoping she'll go on his 1st assignment. I think she's awesome, she was raised military, so she knows what to expect. People thought I was crazy around here, I would NOT leave my house till I got his 1 and only phone call, it finally came the 1st sunday he was at basic at 5pm. But he sounded wonderful, no crying or any of that. I am so proud of him. Now ALL the military songs out there get to me. I honestly dread his 1st deployment, I do not want my son having to go over and fight this war. I know if he has to he will do it proudly, but I'm MOM and I don't want him to.

I guess thats it for now, I will keep everyone posted.
