IS TURNING 30 AS BAD AS IT SOUNDS!!!!!!!

I'M GOING TO BE 30 OCT. 9TH, AND JUST WANTING TO KNOW IF ITS AS BAD AS EVERYONE THINKS IT IS. THERE ARE DAYS THAT I THINK TO MY SELF ITS JUST ANOTHER DAY. THEN THERE ARE DAYS I'M LIKE OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M GOING TO BE 30. THERE ARE DAYS I WANNA CRY THEN I THINK WELL THATS STUPID YOUR JUST TURNING 30, WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL.  I'M ON AN EMOITIONAL ROLLER COASTER.  I KNOW ITS STUPID, BUT I'M REALLY NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO TURNING 30! SO TO EVERYONE WHO READS THIS PLEASE TEL LME ITS NOT SO BAD.  LIE TO ME I DON'T CARE! LOL I KNOW THIS POST IS KINDA DUMB , BUT ANY COMMENTS ON HOW GREAT TURNING 30 IS WOULD BE GREAT!

After 30 you'll realize it's not so bad.  I swear!  I bet people still look at you like you're in your mid 20s.  To be honest... I hung on to 29 for a couple of years.  But now that I'm older, I feel my age is my badge of honor!  I've made it this far and things aren't falling off me yet, you know!  When you're in your 20s people don't give you any credit (too young to know any better)!  30 will be good for you!  Just you wait and see!

I'm 45 and I have to say that my 40's have been fantastic so far.  I feel better and look better than I have in years.

I wrote a journal about this a while back and had many comments from women thanking me for the uplifting words and helping to change their perspective.  I hope you find it encouraging.

HUN, TURNING 30 MEANS YOU ARE STILL YOUNG, AT ONE OF YOUR PRIMES.  I AM TURNING 59 ON TUESDAY AND I USE TO THINK THAT WAS AN ANCIENT # BUT NOW THAT I HAVE REACHED IT, THE ONLY THING I REGRET IS NOT HAVING THIS KNOWKEDGE I HAVE OF LIFE AT 30.  YOU HAVE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL YEARS AHEAD OF YOU, MAKE THE MOST OF THEM, SO THAT WHEN YOU GET TO YOUR 60'S YOU HAVE NO REGRETS.  YOU ARE STILL A SPRING CHICKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

turning thirty was really emotional for me to.the first couple of months i wanted to act like i was 20 again.but it will pass.thirty isn't bad.it seems like its gonna be because you are not 20n something any more,once you get over the fact you will be o.k.

I'm not 30 yet but I'm joining the 30s club on 12/1 and am NOT looking forward to it. I  joke to everyone saying that I'll be celebrating my 29th birthday for the 2nd year a row, and will do so for a long ass time since I look much younger that I really am.  Always have, and probably always will. I got the young look thing from my Mom.
