Ok...so it seems like we have some sort of epidemic here.  My SO's 12 yr old daughter keeps getting head lice!  We get it all taken care of...3 months later, she gets it again...we get it taken care of and repeat.  This is like the 3rd bout we've had with this stuff.  It's so frustrating.  We wash everything, vaccum everything...it goes completely away.  The minute she goes for a sleepover...she gets it again.  Thing is...she doesn't sleep at the same person's house!   So, I don't know where it's coming from.  We're all just all tired of dealing with this all the time!  It takes so much energy.  Here's one more thing...SHE keeps getting the lice...no one else in the household gets it!  So, I don't know what's going on.  If anyone has any ideas on this...I'd appreciate it!

lice like clean hair. start having her use gel, mousse, spray, something. try coconut scented products or shampoos. they don't like that. i just had a lice training (i'm a teacher) and skip the chemical crap. doesn't really work. you have to brush EACH AND EVERY nit out of her hair with that retchid medieval looking comb. then bag EVERYTHING plush. keep them in the bags for 10 days. then wash them with some bleach on hot and dry them on hot for a long time. then vacuum the whole house, now here in the clincher, take the vacuum bag OUT of the vacuum and to a dumpster. don't keep it in the house! those little bastards can get out and start laying eggs again.
