I'm apologizing for the poor grammar, and lack of structure to this, but I just wrote it in an IM conversation with a friend of mine.

Call me a dork... but every choice we make does have some purpose... it leads us down a path we are meant to go. The choices I have made in the past have taught me some very hard and interesting lessons. I do not regret any of the lessons I have learned. You know, like they say in RENT "Forget regret, or life is yours to miss."  I think life is kind of like a choose your own adventure book. The variables may seem infinite, but in reality they are not. If you make one choice, the ramifications of that decision do not necessarily allow you to go back and choose a different path, but instead open you up to a new set of options...
