I am worried about my DD 1st b-day. We still have about 2 1/2 months before the big day is here but its time to start planning. Well last night I sat down and made out a list and darn this HUGE family I have. LOL If I break my list down to just the close relatives and friends it is 40+ people. Problem: I only live in a 2 bedroom apartment. I could probably fit 10 people in here comfortably. So I don't know what I'm going to do. I want to have a larger party for her as she has gone through TONS in her life so far and to be honest at first we didn't think she was going to make it to a year. So I am thinking of calling the local banquet halls to see how much they would charge me, and also am thinking of having 2 parties (if my mom will let us do my side at her house) one at grandma's for my side and the other here for daddy's side. Another big problem with DD b-day is that she was born 6 days before x-mas so money will be tight, and there are lots of x-mas parties to attend that time of year.
Well thanks for reading, if you have any other suggestions please pass them along.
Comments:
The park inn in Stevensville, rents out their conference room which has a full kitchen for $75.00 for four hours. You also get to use the pool. I have had a couple of parties there and it works out great. We just make the food ourselves which saves a ton of money. Hope that this helps.

I'd just have a small get together for her 1st birthday. She isn't going to remember it or really understand what is going on. But next year when she is 2 go all out. Because when they are 2 they def. know what is going on, the joys of presents and cakes...
But if you still want to go big, and the weather permits, just have her party at a local park. That way you can have one big party and you don't have to worry about taking her from house to house on her birthday. And parks are free!!!!
