Meet CafeMom's New Bloggers

Did you know that every day on CafeMom over 300,000 things are posted? That’s A LOT of journal posts, group posts, comments, photos, etc. that you’re creating! And while we love having so many moms using the site (Thank you!), we know that sometimes it can be difficult to sort through everything and find the things that interest you.

Help is on the way. We’re excited to tell you about something we’re working on. Next week we’ll be adding the Daily Buzz to CafeMom. This is where bloggers will be writing about the great stuff happening on CafeMom and around the Web on different topics that you’re interested in. We’d like your help getting things started.

First, please help us welcome our new bloggers. Starting today they’ll be active on the site and they want to get to know all of you and hear your stories. Stop by their profile pages and give them a warm welcome!

Second, we want Daily Buzz to showcase your great photos. If you would like your photos featured in Daily Buzz, just tag them with the word “dailybuzz” so we know that we can use them.

How to tag photos:
If you’re uploading a new photo, just fill in the “tags” section when you upload it. Put dailybuzz and any other words that describe your photo. Separate each word with a comma. (Ex. dailybuzz, zoo, elephant)

If you want to go back and add the dailybuzz tag to photos you’ve already uploaded, just go to the My Photos page and click on the photo you want to tag.

Above the photo click the link that says “Change this photo”.

Then on the edit page, just add your tags:

How about giving us a little thing at the top so we can know when we have group bulletins too?

Not too fond of this idea. Why does the Team keep adding crap to Cafemom? It's getting VERY crowded.
