15 Month Checkup

Mikayla had her 15 month well check today. She couldn't get her shots because the fridge at the doctor's office went out and they lost all of their vaccines, so I have to take her back in 2 weeks when they get more. That kind of sucks because I am going to have to take off of work again. She weighs 23 pounds and 10 ounces, which is the 50th percentile. She is only 29.5 inches tall, which is the 25th percentile. She is still on the short side, but that is no suprise because I am only 4'11". The Pedi said she doesn't stand a chance...lol! Her head size is 48.5 cm., which is way above average, the 95th percentile. My poor baby has a big head. Just more room to store her big brain...lol! We talked about normal stuff like talking, teeth, and eating. No concerns! She is right on track. I am so happy!

sounds good.  You are only 4 11?  Wow.  I thought I was short at 5 2!  Meadow only weighed 21 pounds at that checkup... 10th percentile... would love to hear how things are progressing, talk soon!

YaY! LoL you're the same height as me!! =] short girls kick butt! lol =] I'm so glad that Mikayla is growing normally! =] hooray!

she maybe short but she is still yummy. and her big head is just more to kiss. she is precious. at 15 months anelise was only 22 lbs but she was 34 inches tall. someone actually called her a bean pole! i hope she stays skinny.
