Yes, there is a plumber here literally using a jackhammer on the foundation of our home in the kitchen and the twins are sleeping right through it. I can't believe it. I am cracking up. Of course, if the jackhammering (is that a word?) is not done soon they may wake up. Guess we'll see.

So far, 5 days w/o a kitchen and $4000 over-budget. This sucks! Can't wait till it is over.

Of course they did wake up, right when he was done.  I should mention I didn't put my babies to sleep during jackhammering on purpose.  It was an unexpected occurance that came up after they had just gone down for nap.  I was going to take them out and drive around but they were still crashed after he got started.  Started thinking I sounded like a horrible mom.
