Extreme Makeover

I was watching an old Extreme Makeover Home Edition where they were building a home for a family in Watts, Cali. The woman's granddaughter lived there also, and was given a new really cool room. She pulled out a barbie doll that was new to the room and asked if she could have one for Christmas. Her mom and Grandma had to explain to her that it was already hers and everything in the room was hers. I teared up, it was just so sad.

I feel so blessed to have everything my daughter needs and about anything she wants as well. Just thought I would share.

I know what you mean, sometime it is easy to take foregranted how we and our children are spoiled.  Truly whatever we want we get sometime it takes something like this to truly take a step back and appreciate things a little more.
