I must say that 100,000,000 times a day. With 3 hyper boys there's always someone whackin' someone else upside the head. Sheesh! I told my hubby, see, that's why I wanted girls, LOL.
The new boys are adjusting and doing well. Of course they speak not a word of English, and they're not used to having rules, and they're totally overstimulated by all the toys and things in our house, but they seem to be transitioning well in my opinion. Nick is not 3.5 but maybe 2.5. He's very babyish and can't do anything for himself. And he chatters, OMG, constantly. And he has to pee every few minutes.. and needs help.
Nate is 5 but missed the cutoff for kindergarten. We want to put him in preschool in January, though, to give him a boost in his learning. He loves to watch "Letter Factory" and is learning his alphabet and the sounds they make. It has no meaning to him though, it's just when he repeats certain things he gets praised, so he does it.
Zack is happy having 2 "little' brothers (Nate is bigger than him) and although he and Nate fight, they also completely act like brothers, sit together on the couch, hold hands when we walk places, etc. It's quite cute. I've been waiting for the "When do they go back to Africa?" from Zack but it's never come.
Dealing with 3 boys though is hard, at least for now. It's such a change from a quiet house to this noisy house. It's getting easier, as our adjustment seems as big as theirs, I swear. But I love to see them asleep on the couch all snuggled together, I love to hear the laughter and see them playing together. It's just so dang cool.
But I am going back for a little girl! I want a baby girl! There's too much testosterone (or gonna be, in about 8 years) in this house!!!! We need a little sister for the boys to spoil!
