Resounding failure by our government officials results in the PASSING of the wall street bailout bill!

This is a sad day for the American People. We have essentially saddled ourselves, our children, and our children's children with nearly a trillion dollars worth of new debt. Do I think this new legislation will help the average American Person? No. I think it will help bail out millionaires on wall street as well as irresponsible companies that drove themselves into the ground. These people, who are responsible for our stock market falling, are now going to get huge amounts of money to "fix" the companies that THEY put in financial duress. Do I think this is right? No. I think it's wrong to saddle our country with generations of debt because of stupid decisions that rich idiots made in order to better THEIR lives. Please don't fool yourselves into thinking these people didn't know what they were doing. They did and they do not understand or appreciate the money that is being given to them to "fix" their mess. There were several other possibilities out there to fix this Wall Street disaster (notice I didn't say economic disaster because our economy right now is just fine) instead of handing out money to these idiots!

Please pray for these people. They need our prayers because obviously they do not understand the repercussions of their actions. I personally, looked on dave ramsey's website to find out how my senators and representatives voted. They ALL voted for it. I am NOT voting for any of them in the future. I don't care how long they have been in office, they obviously do not understand the people OR what the people want.
EDIT: I did find out late last night that my house rep did vote NO. They WILL get my vote. My senators though can shove it up their fat behinds!

What I am especially disappointed in, is the fact that both McCain and Obama voted FOR the bailout. I know they were simply bowing to political pressure. However, when you fail to use your voice or let others compromise your voice, you don't do any good for anyone. - That's from Legally Blonde 2. I have to find some kind of humor in this or I'm going to be really pissed off for a long time.
I know it is all extremely infuriating!!!! UGH!!! Why do they flat out REFUSE to listen to their consitiuents???
But, if it makes you feel any better, I just went a hunting and found out that our rep, Michael McCaul, voted NO 3 times, today on this issue. This is the only voting record i could find for today.

I know my representative didn't represent me. I have talked to my neighbors and people in the community. The representatives voted for what they wanted instead of the people they represent. They'll vote the same way in the election as well. We will be ignored once again. Popular vote doesn't prevail in the United States!
LOL! Glad I could make your day! If enough people believe that they are just going to be voted back anyway, it will happen. They won't vote the way they feel they should because they think it won't do any good. It WILL! If enough people stand up and say NO to the senators and representatives that said YES, It will make an impact!

It's ridiculous. I heard today that even though we were in immediate danger of a economic and financial collapse in this country.... that this bailout is still going to take months have a positive effect on our economy.
This is sickening. Simply and completely making me nauseous. I think I'm going to get more involved in local politics because these old b*stards have got to get out of office!
