Where did my bathroom go???

My DH is a great man I will start off by saying that so that I can BITCH and not feel so bad.  My husband got this brilliant idea to redo our bathroom (much needed don't get me wrong) but he started it Labor day weekend!! I still have no toilet!!!  I am so frustrated because he starts something in the bathroom and then two hours later he's tired and taking a break... he started working this morning... and it's only been 4 hours and he is in the shower!!! he's not feeling good, he's tired BLAH BLAH He has not put dry wall up and he has done NOTHING!!!!  I sooooooo tired of having only one bathroom!!!

Just venting!!

i am so sorry, my hubby is the same way...starts a project and never finishes!!! i think it is a man thing....they like to take their time and frolick around while we want it done LIKE YESTURDAY!!! lol

For me,  giving concrete deadlines to him is fair.  To explain that you have been without a toilet in that room for over four weeks now,  and you really need that room back in the next week (or two weeks if you are nice!).  Be sure to let him know nicely that you have been patient,  but something needs to be done.  Good luck!  (Don't be mad when you try this!)

LOL, that is why I took up landscaping, remodeling, painting, plumbing, you name it! My husband used to do the same, I just got so tired of it, I did it on my own.....with a much better job and done fast!  I just replaced my toilet Sunday night! Yes, 6 mos pregnant and replacing toilets! I've been asking him for months and he never got around to it. So I went and did it while he was at work. Now that we have a new toilet in our bathroom, my husband has not noticed it yet. He still uses the other ones. lol So I have this new toilet all to myself.

Typical man -- this is why Kevin is not allowed to do any "home improvements".....it never gets improved!  haha

Sounds like so much fun! lol  We're doing a bunch of small remodel projects here too...a lot of which we do ourselves because we hired someone (a licensed store) to come flip our place when we bought it and they royally screwed things up, so we're fixing all their mistakes.  fun fun!!  And I know what you mean about having only 1 bathroom...that's why we gotta move!!
