A day in MY life...

If anyone ever wanted to know what it's like having 4 kids (3 of them being autistic) don't know why you would wonder lol.. But...

 

This... Is my weekly schedule (during the school year)

MONDAY, TUESDAY

Wake up Dh at 6 am every other morning (his off mornings I wake up at 6:30..

6-7am Get Josh up out of bed, breakfast, change clothes, brush teeth, wash face, he spins in my glider while I make his lunch

7am Get Josh on the bus, Wake up Jordan and Triston (faith if she's up to it) breakfast, change clothes, brush teeth, wash face, turn on cartoons, break up fights, check backpacks for important papers, make sure they have their weekly folders..

8:10 am Jordan and Triston go to school, brush faith's hair and make it pretty

8:30 Faith goes to school

9:00 (monday) Drive to Eureka to pick up papers, load papers, drive back home to recieve more papers.. (Tuesdays deliver papers in eureka)

12 noon Faith out of school

2pm Jordan out of school

2:15 pm - 2:30 pm Josh home on the bus, triston's out at 2:30 respite workers pick T up bring him home.

2:30-3:30 Respite workers devise plan for the day and leave (Tuesdays Josh and Triston Leave by 3:30 to make it to gymnastics by 4)

5-6pm Dinner or as I like to call it.. Chaos!

7pm Start rolling papers (mondays)

7;30 pm respite workers leave

8pm kids in bed

8pm-11pm, roll and bag papers (mondays)

Midnight (monday) bed


WEDNESDAY

8:10 am Jordan and Triston go to school, brush faith's hair and make it pretty

8:30 Faith goes to school

9:00 Drive to Eureka to pick up papers, load papers, drive back home to recieve more papers.. (deliver more papers in eureka) Also deliver in fortuna, rio dell, and scotia

12 noon Faith AND Jordan out of school

1pm Triston out of school

2:15pm-2:30pm Josh home on the bus, respite workers come

4pm leave house with Jordan and Faith

5-6pm. Mommy gets her head shrunk while daddy and kids go to park

6:30 pick up dinner at mc'd's.. and subway

7pm Get home, prep dinner for kids just so... Chaos time

7:30pm Respite workers leave till Sunday

8pm kids in bed

THURSDAY

9am-noon Run errands, grocery shopping etc!

2pm Jordan out of school

2:15 pm - 2:30 pm Josh home on the bus, triston's out at 2:30 we pick up T today

2:30-5:30 Find something to do with kids out of house so we don't kill them

5:30-7 cook and serve chaos...uhh.. dinner.

8pm kids go to bed

FRIDAY

Wake up Dh at 6 am every other morning (his off mornings I wake up at 6:30..

6-7am Get Josh up out of bed, breakfast, change clothes, brush teeth, wash face, he spins in my glider while I make his lunch, give Josh 2-4$ for community outing

7am Get Josh on the bus, Wake up Jordan and Triston (faith if she's up to it) breakfast, change clothes, brush teeth, wash face, turn on cartoons, break up fights, check backpacks for important papers, make sure they have their weekly folders..

8:10 am Jordan and Triston go to school, brush faith's hair and make it pretty

NO SCHOOL FOR FAITH! Great.

2pm Jordan out of school

2:15 pm - 2:30 pm Josh home on the bus, triston's out at 2:30 we pick up T today

***EXTRA BONUS*** Some fridays MIL picks up the kids for a few hours or even over night... sounds pleasant right? NOT!! The kids come back HELLIONS!!! (and she's annoying and calls every 15 mins until she goes to bed)

2:30-5:30 Find something to do with kids out of house so we don't kill them

5:30-7 cook and serve chaos...uhh.. dinner.

8pm kids go to bed

SATURDAY

6-7am Wake up to kids fighting and breaking stuff.

7-8am Breakfast

8-12 am Damage control I need a nap.. aint gonna happen

12am Lunch

***EXTRA*** 2pm pick up kids from grandma's if they went

12-5pm More damage control. Stop hitting, no fighting, share your stuff, stop yelling, stop jumping, let's go outside, bring your coat, no running down the trail, I'm GONNA SELL YOU KIDS!!

5pm go home

5:30-7 make and serve more chaos

8pm bed for brats!

SUNDAY


6-7am Wake up to kids fighting and breaking stuff.

7-8am Breakfast

8-9 am Damage control I need a nap.. aint gonna happen

9am respite workers get here, get kids dressed, teeth brushed, hair combed blah blah blah.. Pack lunch for Josh and Triston

10:05 Leave for church

10:30 -noon Church

12:50 Get home, feed Jordan and Faith lunch

1:45-4 find something to do with kids

4:30 start making dinner

5 respite workers leave, chaos

6-8pm Bathe all 4 monkeys, brush teeth, haircuts if neccessary, find back packs, important papers

8pm lights out for monkeys



Yeah, that doesn't even include if we have parent teacher conferences, meetings with our behavioralist, meetings with our regional center case manager, meetings with our case manager at HCCC (where our kids get respite) Birthday parties, Holidays, IEP's, Doctor's appts, dentist appts, Cafemom time, Phone calls, mommy or daddy working out or showering, OR GOD FORBID SOMEBODY GET SICK!!!

No wonder I'm stressed all the time!!!
