Update: The Starwww Foundation Team 1000" Pink Lids"

Many have offered  to assist. I have friends in several places who wanted to get involved.

This is a update on how we are moving full starm ahead towards our goal of 1000 "Pink Lids".

Our team Update:

My job has join in they have already collected 100 lids so far.

We have 45 lids committed online as friends have signed up.

My 4 Block Club leaders have committed to bringing to our goal 100 lids.

I went to our p.o.box today and picked up the foundations mail and we had 3 envelopes from friends of other sites I belong to that totaling 40 lids with a note that more is on the way.

So my friends we are well on our way to reaching our goal. This is exciting.

My daughter's Art instructor at school has issued the challenged to her students.

10 lids gets then 20 extra credit points. The class has 30 students. I can not wait to see how many we get from the kids. I added as a bonus a $20 dollar gift card for the one who beings in the most.Plus I know the teacher loves coffee. So yes I will have a Save Lids to save lives Mug for her.

So I would say we are off to a great start. Our goal is in reach . 1000 "Pink Lids" we are geared up and plans are being made to host a dinner. The cost of admission 5 pink lids. This is planned for Oct. 24, with family and friends ,plus it helps that my husband will have turn 50. Oct. 22. So this will be a great time to celebrate both.

i HAVE BEEN SENDING THEM ON MY OWN, i HAVE NEVER KNOWN ANYONE DIRECTLY AFFECTED BY BREAST CANCER,WELL YES i HAVE MY HUSBANDS EXS SISTER  .KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK LADIES!
