A Moral Question, Food vs Crack

I got this question from a Site I visit now and again, called Dooce.

Something to chew on

"Indulge me for a second and consider this scenario: let's say you're given the opportunity to donate some money to a desperate family who would use it to feed their children, but were only able to do so if you donated the same amount of money to someone you knew would use it to buy crack. Would you do it?"

So...What would YOU do?

I would love to help feed someone but to have to support someones drug habit in order to feed someone I don't think I could do it. But I couldn't let no one go hungry so maybe I would have to no matter how much I hated it.

Supporting the drug habit of one to feed a family?  Sure, I'd still do it, but I'd probably work with the crack head too and try to find them help to recover from their addiction.

OMG... This is tough, I would be hurting so bad if  I did not feed the kids, I know I would not support ones drug habit... I would have to break some rules or make some new ones...Cuz I would not ever give any one money for drugs.... I have went in the market and bought items before I handed the money over...

You don did it this time rocky.... My head is officially hurting.....lol, lol
