Check out this site from the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America,  that rates not only Obama and McCain, but all of our  state representatives in terms of support for veteran issues.

I am so happy that my state Sen. Harry Reid got an A+.  The lowest grade for NV reps was a C(J. Ensign)

If you like post your reps grades.

Thanks,

Z

According to the group our Presidential nominees received the following grades in terms of there votes/support of veteran issues.

Thanks for posting this, I voted popular!

Incidentally, my representative, Rick Larsen  got an A+, as did both of my senators, Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray of Washington State!

CT's two senate members got an A and A+!! All of our house members got A's or A+'s too. Wow... go Connecticut... who knew!!

Funny to me that McCain got a D. Isn't he supposed to be all about the troops? War hero? I guess they saw right through him too.

My main man Ken Salazar (D-CO) got an A+.  He promised to make veteran's affairs one of his top priorities, and he has definitely followed through.  It does surprise me that Sen McCain, being someone who is a veteran and who collects benefits, got such a poor grade.

Our other senator, Wayne Allard (R-CO) got a C.  This is not the only reason to dislike this man, but it's up there.

Thanks for posting.  Very interesting to McCain/Obama's grades!  There's nothing left to say, as their grades speak for themselves.

it's good to keep this type of information going...

these groups study the candidates voting habits and policies when it comes to veterans...

we should also note that Disabled Veterans for America (DVA) gave McCain a 20% and Obama a 90% out of 100% rating
