I have no idea what to write here--I'm a writer, after all. I can think of faeries and gallant knights, broad-shouldered cowboys, pirates and goblins. But I've never been able to write a diary--at least not if it had to be true. I'm a whole lot better with making things up. ![]()
So I'll tell you about my next release, and maybe I can even get the cover on here . . .
FAERY SPECIAL ROMANCES by Jacquie Rogers
May 2007, Highland Press
Royalties go to Children's Tumor Foundation, ending neurofibromatosis through research
I totally love the cover. It was designed and created by Deborah MacGillivray.
The stories aren't finalized yet, so everything might change, but here's the current line up:
FAERY MUCH IN LOVE
1199 Alternate Europe
MUCH ADO ABOUT FAERIES
1597 London (with Bill Shakespeare)
FAERIES OF THE CARIBBEAN
1655 Caribbean (sorry, no Johnny Depp)
FAERY THEE WELL
1750 Catskills Mountains
MY FAERY LADY
1814 London (sorry, no Audrey Hepburn)
A FAERY GOOD BET
1850 New Orleans
THE DUCHESS AND THE DIRTWATER FAERY
1880 Idaho
FAERY FOXY FLAPPER
1926 Upstate New York
FAERY HOT DATE
1968, Idaho
FAERY GOOD ADVICE
After the Frozen Time, Auburn, WA
The last story won the P.E.A.R.L. Award for Best Short Story of 2006., and was also nominated for a RIO Award for Excellence (Reviewers International). I wrote a new ending, though, so won't be exctly the same as printed in No Law Against Love.
The main character throughout all the stories is Keely. She has a blog and a myspace page, so check her out!
