What would I miss?

It's more a question of what do I miss...Any Nashville momma knows the best place to hear great music under the stars was Starwood Ampitheater. I cannot begin to name all of the great shows I've see there, REM, The Cure, Lollapalooza, Lillithfair, Rush, even Meatloaf! But for some reason the powers that be decided that the land would be better used as a mixed use facility. That means houses and stores. Umm, hello? We have lots of empty store fronts right up Murfreesboro Road, and there are new home builders offering to lease-purchase the homes that they can't sell! It made me so sad to drive by that first time and see nothing standing where the stage used to be...

Yeah, That really must suck. I hate that when everyone finds something or some place they like they get rid of it. Makes Me mad too. But there are some other wonderful venues there as well.
