I'm Pretty Pissed Off!!!

So I went to the NEX yesterday to go grocery shopping; I live in Guam, so it's the NEX or pay a butt load in the city at K-mart... Anyhow, I bought my groceries got home and was starving my 2 year old had already eaten pasta I made her . My husband was at a basketball game, he finally got home at about 7:45; so by this point I'M REALLY REALLY hungry, so I make dinner. Well, our NEX has a big problem with selling expired food, which I thought you weren't allowed to do,apparently you are!!! We eat, and about 30 mins later both of us feel really really sick and our stomachs a cramping and we just feel awful! I always look at the dates on my food, and I did when we were at the store, but rarely do I on frozen food, the NEX had sold me a frozen meal that expired on 05/08/08!!! I was so pissed, that's why we were sick, I didn't think to check it because I was starving!!! Anyhow, I'm pissed, I feel better today but I cant believe they are selling food that expired in MAY!!! I just went and looked at the other one I bought the damn thing expired in DECEMBER of 2007 that's freaking disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is terrible.  It should have been pulled...People get sued for that kinda stuff here...Hope you both are better...

Thanks, I feel a little better, my stomachs still a bit uneasy... I just can't believe I was actually given food poisoning by a flipping store on base, all because of laziness, that's all I can think of as to why food that expired 10 months ago is still on the shelf!!!

I would DEF. bring that to their attention.. I don't know if it actually matters to them but that's insane and could get someone like deathly sick!!! I would still take that food back and demand for some not old food!

tell them your MONEY wasn't old....even if their frozen food was.
