that is funny and sad all at the same time. i miss halloween from when i was a kid, but it was getting dangerous then too....

one year the mall in town had trick or treating from store to store, to give out samples and to try to keep kids safe. it was too dangerous to go out in the mid 90s....my son is only almost 2, where will i take him in the years to come? with all the foreclosed homes/towns and crazies out there.... oh well we will adapt!

We go to the mall, our school is having a trunk or treat, some churches do that, scout packs too.

I think I might just throw a huge kid friendly Halloween party and see if the neighborhood wants to get together to join in. Make it s a huge block Halloween party. Last year no one was participating in Halloween. My son went to four houses and the rest were dark. Either A. We have a lot of Pedophiles or B. That is a lot of foreclosed homes.
