The Sixth Seal:
“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”
In order for us to understand the sixth seal, we must refer back to three prophets that foresaw this event (the great day of his wrath).
First Isaiah 13:
“.......I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness. The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; of nations gathered together: the Lord of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole world. Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty..........Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinner thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.........Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.”
Second Daniel 12:
“........and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt......But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.......And I heard, but I understood not: then said I , O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days (3 1/2 yrs). Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.”
Third , Jesus spoke in Matthew 24:
“And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See all these things? Verily I say unto you, there shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down......the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.........and ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilence, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake............But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.........When ye therefore shall see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (which is Christ), (whoso readeth, let him understand:)........For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.........And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened...... Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”
The sixth seal is the seal of great tribulation, a time of trouble that has never been seen before. It is the great and terrible day of the Lord. It is the seal that reveals a nuclear war between nations. The earthquake that moves mountains and departs the heavens as a scroll when it is rolled together is the detonation of a nuclear bomb and its mushroom cloud. This nuclear bomb is the “ABOMINATION THAT MAKES DESOLATION .” The ash from the bomb blocks out the sunlight and cause darkness over all the land. All men from the greatest to the least will hide themselves in the mountains and caves in fear of the Lords wrath. For the Lord does come to destroy the sinner. Those, who by faith endure to the end, will be saved.
The stars of heaven fell to earth, such as the fig tree when a mighty wind shakes her and her figs are cast to the ground before they are ready. These stars are the four angels in Rev 7:1-3. These are the angels that were sent to destroy the land and sea. But the angel of the Living God came forth and told them not to hurt the earth and sea for it was not yet time saying, “Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.” The twelve tribes of Juda (the 144,000) must first receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Seeing the signs of the Son of man in heaven these tribes shall mourn for him, for this Christ they crucified. They shall witness His great glory and power in the clouds of heaven.
The Seventh Seal:
“And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.” Here is what took place during this time.
Mathew 15:22-28
21: Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.(Jesus departed, he was crucified and appears in his own flesh, no more)
22: And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.(a woman/the original Gentile church, cried unto him saying, my daughter/the Gentile church of today, is taken over by the devil)
23: But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.(Jesus did not reveal himself or speak to the Gentile church, he was silent about the space of half and hour)(his disciples(the 5 fold ministry) were reluctant to give the Word unto the gentile church/the unclean, but she cries out for deliverance.)
24: But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.(Jesus answered and said, I am come but to feed the True Israelites)
25: Then came she and worshiped him, saying, Lord, help me.(the Gentile church worshiped Jesus and cried for mercy)
26: But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.(Jesus answered and said, it is not right that I give the Word, which is given to the True Israelites, and give it to the heathen/unclean)
27: And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.(the Gentile church said yes, Lord, but even the heathen/unclean have heard a little of the Word which is given unto the True Israelites)
28: Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.(Jesus answered, Gentile church, great is thy faith in me, as you desire, your church is made whole and by my spirit, given the True Word of God)
There was a silence of the True Word unto the Gentiles from the time of Pentecost (when the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit) until Paul was appointed to minister unto the Gentile church (Paul was the first church age messenger to the Gentiles) This time frame is the silence of half an hour as spoken of in Rev 8:1.
The seventh seal continues Rev. 10:4 “And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.” This is the mystery of the Seven Fold Ministry.
Revelation 11:3-12
3: And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.(Jesus gave his two witnesses/prophets the power of the Word, for His Spirit was fully manifested within them)
4: These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.(these two prophets are anointed and are a light before the God of earth)
5: And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.(if any man come against them, the Word of God will destroy them, they will be spiritually dead.)
6: These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.(these two prophets, filled with Christ, have the power to halt the anointing given, to prophesy and to turn the Word into revelation....)
Matthew 15:29-37
1: And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.(Jesus Christ come in the flesh of the two witnesses/prophets and they went to Israel, to minister to the 144,000, the true Israelites)
30: And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: (the Israelites came unto the two prophets, for they were given power to heal many)
31: Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.( the Israelites questioned how these things could happen, for it can only come by a prophet of God, and they gave glory to God)
32: Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.(the two prophets/Jesus, had compassion on the Israelites, for they heard and believed in the miracles of God 3 years, now they have no bread/True Word, I will not send them away hungry, lest they fall from their faith/die spiritually)
33: And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude(the disciples ask, how can we fill so many Israelites with the True Word of Christ)
34: And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.(the two prophets/Jesus asks the disciples, how many Word filled have ye? They said 7 loaves--7 Word filled, and a little meat)
35: And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.(He commanded the Israelites to be grounded(strong) and have faith in what they receive)
36: And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his 7 disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.(the two prophets/Jesus gathered the 7 Word filled disciples, and gave them meat, and they were filled with all the revelation of the True Word of Christ)(then these 7 Word filled prophets gave this revelation to all the Israelites/144,000).(this is the 7 fold ministry in which the True Word of Christ/the Gospel is given to the Israelites)
37: And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.(and the Israelites did all receive the True Word of Christ, and what was left are these 7 Word filled prophets, given the 7 trumpets/alarms to sound) Rev. 8:2
Jesus was to minister unto the Israelites for seven years. He ministered unto the them for 3 1/2 years before he was crucified on the cross. This is when Christ's ministry CROSSED over to the Gentile church as above in Matthew 15:22-28 (also shown in the story of Joseph) (after the silence of half an hour). The three and half years of the two prophets is the continuation of Christ's ministry as promised to the Israelites. When three years have passed, starting at the 1/2 year left, these 6 of the 7 angels/trumpets/Word filled begin to sound their alarm to the 144,000.
Revelation 11:7-15
7: And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.(when the two prophets have finished their 3 1/2 year testimony of Christ to the 144,000. the beast/Satan shall kill them)
8: And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9: And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10: And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11: And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12: And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13: And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14: The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15: And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.(REV 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets).
When all is accomplished and the last of the true Israelites have been joined in love to the Lord Jesus Christ, and Satan has been destroyed, God will prepare His holy mountain, His new Garden of Eden for the bride and His and her attendants for the thousand year honeymoon upon the earth. As Adam and Eve were in the garden and did not finish out the thousand years, now Jesus our last Adam, and His Eve (True Church) will fulfill all the plan of God.
