1st Appointment

Well, I had my first appt. on Wed., and everything went great. My due date is May 20th 09' and we get to find out the sex near Christmas. I am soooo excited. Anyway, everything was going great until I went to have my blood drawn. Now the first time I had it drawn, it went great. The doc. used my Right arm and all was well. However, this time was a differnet doc. and he decided to try my Left arm. Bad Idea! I told him before we started that my Right arm might be better, but he said "No, this ones ok." He then stuck me and when only a little came out, he pulled the needle out of the vein, but not out of my arm. He then moved the needle around in my arm trying to move the vein into position or something. He did that 2 or 3 times before fianlly saying "Well this ones not working" and then moving to my right arm. :( I wanted to yell at him and say " I TOLD YOU!!!" So I went home with 2 sore arms. My Left arm is now very bruised, but my Right is fine. Oh well. As long as it's for the baby, I'll deal.

aw i remember that except they always drew my blood out of my left and when it came time to delivery they where trying to stick the iv in my right arm which i knew it would not go! and i said my left is much better and they had the whole attitude of "i know what im doing" and stuck me 4 times! and was like "well lets try the left arm" and it took her 2 times for that! i coulda hurt somebody lol hope all goes well with the tests.
