After almost a full week of being laid up with this flu, I finally went out of the house today. Not too long of a trip though. I needed it.

Being that Bryce's therapist took Bryce and Skyler out to give us a break for a while, we took the chance to run a couple of errands. Hayley is with her dad until Monday.

So, we went and paid the car insurance first. Then, just as we got out of the car to do a short shopping trip, the therapist said he was already back. So, while Scott went inside to start getting some items, I waited for the therapist to drop the kids off to me at the front outside of the store.

Skyler, Bryce, and I went in and met up with Dad. Then, I got a small bite from the Deli with the kids to take home and a couple of sodas for them and myself.

We weren't there long, but by the time we reached the checkout area, I was pooped. My energy just drained from me. It almost felt like the first night when this flu had hit me.

When we got home, I instantly plopped my butt in the rocking chair, put my feet up and rested. Bryce and Skyler helped Scott bring the groceries in from the van. I felt bad that I couldn't help. But, if I tried, I would have just fallen over in exhaustion.

When Scott was done, he gave me my small mac and cheese. I only ate about a quarter of it, drank some of my orange soda, then fell asleep. I dozed off for about an hour.

After getting up, I played "Go Fish" with Bryce for about twenty minutes. Then, I got wiped out again. I don't know why. Then, I took some medicine. Once it kicked in, I was able to (for the first time in almost a week) make Bryce a couple of sandwiches and put some dishes away. Then, it was time to sit back down again.

My mother-in-law said that I am to use my daughter's nebulizer every six hours to get a dose of Xopenex for the next couple of days to open up my lungs. And that I may not be completely over this damn stuff until around the middle of next week. Nice!

So, I am slowly becoming human again.
