It's Still Raining!

We had great plans to go to the Pirate Festival on Tybee Island yesterday. We didn't go.

Bill's off to work again today. Mary's still asleep. I've been traveling around the internet, visiting my friends, and basically just being unproductive.

It's still raining. I have my cofee, the cats are sleeping, only waking when I go to refill my cup with hopes of some more of that yummy canned food the vet gave me the other day. A rare treat for the felines.

It's a perfect day for scrapbooking! I have other things I should do, but I haven't played with pictures for a while and my craft table is calling me!

Next weekend is the company picnic where my husband works. He's heard the company really puts on a great day. We'll be able to tour the hangars, which I've wanted to do, but they only allow it on the day of the picnic.

Bill always loves us to see where he works.

In Indiana we could go to the base where he worked with United Airlines and see the planes. In Florida we could visit him there, too. We even took a group of 4-H kids on a tour one year with the homeschool group.

Here, though, being a company that provides maintence for private plane owners from all over the world, they're not so open to visitors. I can understand that. I still don't know if I'll be able to take pictures. Probably not of any planes, but I'll be snappin' away at the picnic area! lol
