FIRE in So California ---- again

I never use the word "hate", so I won't say it now. BUT, I intensely dislike this time of year -
Dry air - very little humidity
Windy - about 40mph at my house - gusts up much stronger - and winds stronger in other areas
Fire - this one is about 10 miles from my house, so it's not too close. However, the freeway is closed (my route to work). I've been watching the news, trying to find an alternate route, but everything is jammed! So, even if I get to the office, I may not be able to get home.
As much as I enjoy being home, and having a reason to not go to
(YIKES! A HUGE WIND GUST JUST MUSTERED! SCARY!)
Okay, what was I saying? Oh, yeah...................
As much as I enjoy being home, and having a reason to not go to work, this is just NOT a good week for this. I need to make sure my work is caught up. My vacation begins Thursday.
(Oh, great - my boss just called - he lives close to the office, so he doesn't understand why I can't get to work! Now I'm stressed!!!!!)
Gotta go for now. Be back later, when I calm down.

Im sorry this is going on again! Ill be praying for all those in the area...Its so scary! I cant imagine! Dave almost got a job out there...Id be afraid all the time. Hope things work out so you can catch everything up before vacay! Praying!

I use to live in Fontana, I hated the Santa Ana Winds. Does not sound fun. Stay safe.

I saw the news about the fires this morning. I am saying lots of prayers that the weather starts to cooperate, the firefighters are able to get control of it and no one is injured. Hope you got to work safely and are able to get home the same.
