Yoplait SAVE LIDS to SAVE LIVES UPDATE!

Hello Everyone! I wanted to post an update on the SAVE LIDS to SAVE LIVES Campaign. Our Team is doing a great job in collecting lids! Locally we have a Church group collecting lids, many neighbors and friends and a couple of business groups also participating. A special "thanks" to LYNDELOU for all her help!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!!!

During Yoplait's annual Save Lids to Save Lives Campaign Drive (from now until December 31st), for every pink lid you send in, Yoplait will donate 10 cents to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, up to $1.5 million. And they guarantee a donation of at least $500,000.

To help us please contact friends, relatives, business associates and any one else you can think of to collect PINK lids! Success in collecting lids comes with support and networking. As you know so many of us have been affected by Cancer (in one form or another) in our lives. Working towards a cure is something we can all do for each other.

I am so pleased to have been asked to be a part of the Influencer Program here on Cafemom and to have had the chance to take part in the SAVE LIDS to SAVE LIVES Campaign!

The campaign will continue through the end of the year...but, lids do have to be in to Teams or Yoplait BEFORE December 31^st  so, if you are mailing them to us please use the below address and mail by December 15^th so that we have time to mail all the lids in:

We also have a cute and comfortable knit hat offered by another Cafemom member,  smiley_netta, she hand knits these and has agreed to send one in to give as a prize. Here is a picture -- one of the hats shown will be given as a prize!

So far our biggest collection efforts have been made by Team member -- LYNDELOU! http://www.cafemom.com/home/LYNDELOU She has gone out in her community and placed collection jars and has been very active in collecting lids from everyone! She has personally collected over 126 lids (by herself - NOT including lids from others)! She made all of her own collection jars, too! In addition she is gathering all the mailed in lids and mailing them to Yoplait for the Team! And, she will be sending out the prizes to the winning Mom's who collect the most lids!

Linda ~ First and foremost THANK YOU for all my gifts , both Mr T and myself appreciate them very much...I am right now as I type drinking out of the ( SAVE LIDS TO SAVE LIVES ) coffee cup you sent me..I love it , not only does it daily remind me of the Awareness that needs to be remembered (BREAST CANCER ) it also reminds me of our friendship - which has turned out more like us being Sister's , then friends, for this I am so grateful......

It is wonderful that YOU have so many people helping you out with offering gifts to help find the cure....THANK YOU to each of you who have offered to help Linda out....

Oh and Sis (Linda) YEP......The guns are from buying and carrying SO much YOPLAIT to HELP SAVE LIVES !!!! LOL ....Funny you....I love you Sis ♥ ♥ ♥

Wow Linda you sure have put a lot of work into this post , it is sure the best one I have yet to see..You have not only given lots of links for us to look at ,but also included pictures of gifts and links to go along with everything..I couldn't do all that if I had to.. I too am loving the " guns " on LYNDELOU'S arm there, she really must be picking up them boxes..You know I think the world of both you girls..I can't wait to see who sends in the most lids..I don't eat yoplait but my husband does and I have my neighbors saving lids as well, I have them packaged and ready to send in..It is all about SAVING LIDS TO SAVE LIVES, every single lid matters! Voted popular..Linda you deserve a prize just by this wonderful post you wrote..Great job!

HATS OFF to you, ladies for your efforts!!!!

We're collecting!  We're in, in his house!  Also, we have a collection box at our local senior home..(they serve Yoplai there..they lids were being...THROWN AWAY!)! 

Working together like this, the cure is AROUND THE CORNER..

kandy_cane  Send them in anytime BEFORE December 15th. You can mail 12 in a regular envelope with one stamp!  Or more in a larger envelope (of course)!

Linda what a great post! You have include everything in one post that we all need to know. All of the gifts are great gifts too, I am collecting lids slowly but surely. I am going to get you them sent out soon. Wow LYNDELOU you sure do have some nice looking gun's. Way to go there. Lifting all those boxes of yoplait and all the boxes of gifts you send out I am sure with that and your job , you do get a good work out. Wish my arms looked like yours = ) I would do anything to have those arms!
