There are some posts on cafemom that ask for money to be given to their charity or organization. Please be aware that this is a website and Cafemom can not check everyone out when it comes to this.

I strongly suggest you to check. Even if it is someone you know for a long time. Someone you trust. This is a website and anyone can write anything on the computer. It just takes a few minutes to check..

With the way the world is now and how hard it is on some people wouldn't you want to know where your money is going? I would.

They can check on everything so I really urge you to check anyone and everyone! Dont' be one to be scammed. If you find someone that is not registered REPORT them they are wrong for doing this and scamming others.

I agree Shell. They should be listed with the bureaus and even your state/cities charity listings with the attorney generals office.
