So, while playing in our newly cleaned and renovated basement playroom on Monday afternoon, we came across an unexpected visitor.  Now, in my world critters and bugs are just fine, as long as they stay outside, in their own space.  If they enter into my space, then it is good-bye.

Grayson was playing with the ball popper and Lily had gotten out all the baby dolls and clothing that we had unpacked in the last two weeks, but hadn't played with.  I was organizing and folding the baby doll clothing for her, while she was laying all her babies down on a pillow and feeding them.  (she nursed them and the older ones she fed with a bowl of veggies & fruit from her play kitchen, How Cute!) and I lifted some clothing and there was a SNAKE all coiled up under them on the floor!!!!!!

I grabbed the kids and threw a bowl over it because I didn't want to have to help look for it 3 hours later when my husband would get home.  He informed me it was only a baby, but it was bigger than any I have seen in person except through the glass in a zoo!  He didn't know what type it was and I don't know anything about snakes.  I assume it came in with boxes from all the moving, but it definately was not welcome.  It is now gone, thank goodness!  I did make hubby take a picture for my scrapbook before removing it from our home however.... ;)
