Our Yoplait Lid Drive

Our lid collecting is going GREAT!  We have a cute display of merchandise we are giving away (thanks to the CafePress GC), and have collected quite a few lids already, and word is spreading!  I didn't realize so many people are saving their lids, and then don't know what to do with them.  Word has gotten out, and I expect the lids to continue to come in at a steady stream.  I nearly have to empty the box already, and that's just the start!  I am so happy to be a part of the effort!

On a side note, my FIL had a second surgery today.  I guess the first surgery was a partial mastectomy and the rest was being done today.  This has been hard to deal with, as he is so far away, and we have to trust he is telling us everything there is to know.  BUT, we can tell, he's glossing it over and maintaining a very upbeat attitude, which will be good for the healing process and recovery.  I know my husband worries, and I wish our finances allowed for him to take some time off to go see his dad.  With heating season coming, there's just no way right now.  We will have to hope all goes well in the coming weeks.

I was thinking about your family today. You guys seem to have a great attitude and that's a battle in and of itself, I'm sure.  I'm hoping and praying all goes well.

We haven't bought any "extras" lately, but Yoplait is first on my list!
