I need a job!

I had hoped to stay home with my children until they are all in school, but we just can't make it anymore.  I looked at several work at home opportunities and none of them seemed to work for me.  The worst part is putting my kids in daycare!  I don't want someone else raising my children.  They are so precious to me and I don't want to miss a single moment! 

I need a job, but not just any job.  I need to make enough money to cover the cost of daycare for 3 kids and bring some more cash in for things like groceries, gas, and bills.  I need a job that will enable me to keep my certification because we can't afford for me to go back to school and get recertified. 

I also want to start teaching private lessons.  Iknow my Mom did that for years and it helped her earn extra money.  I just don't know how to get students!

Good luck finding a job that will cover the cost of daycare for three kids!  I'm a teacher too and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to pay for 3 kids in daycare.  FYI church daycares are usually less expensive than others.  Right now I have my son with a SAHM whose son was in my class a few years ago but they're leaving the area after Christmas (husband got laid off, new job in another state) and I don't have another person I trust like her so I'll be taking him to a more traditional daycare where I know there is more oversight.  The church one I found is about $10 a day cheaper than the commercial one down the street from my school.

In Oklahoma they have a website for home schoolers.  Maybe that could be a resource for you in your area.  Another idea, is paper routes.  I have a friend who has 2 routes, she goes early in the am before her DH leaves for work and returns in time to keep the kiddos.  I will keep you in my thoughts..

I will pray for you that God will open all the right doors and for favor. Put your faith in God and He will do the rest. I know how you feel and where your coming from I too need a job but so far God has provided and I have 8 kids but It can get tough. I do wish you the best!
