I have watched all four debates and many speeches, read articles, etc. I have weighed the issues.  I know who I am voting for and why. I am just curious, with all that is out there:

Why do you support McCain/Palin?

I mean this question honestly.  What is the basis of your support?  Please be honest.  Don't say, "Because Obama..." because I am not asking why you aren't voting for Obama. In fact, if there are any responses that mention Obama at all I will delete them (even if they are in support of him).  I want to know why you support McCain and Palin.  Thank you so much!

Mccain is a Vetrean who loves and cares about his country and has proved it over and over he has honor and integrity

Honor and integrity doesn't provide a basis for running the country.  Neither does a military track record, IMO.

I've watched the debates as well, most notably the one from Hoffstra.  I still don't know exactly what McCains plans are for our country.  He'd rather spread rumors and attack Obama then explain what he wants to see happen while he is in office. 

I noticed he pulls on the heart strings of America by mentioning Palins autistic child, and the fact that he is a veteran,  but where are the politics?  What are the issues and how does he plan to solve them if he is elected?

I am voting for McCain because he is what America stands for. I dont want to live in a Socialist world, and that is where obama is heading. I want to make my own choices in my life and family, and it is none of the governments business what I do. With the Democrats all they want is to be more involved in your family and personal life....doesnt that seem wrong to you?

One president can not destroy democracy, violate the constitution and establish socialism.  It can not and will not happenin America.  I don't understand "He is what America stands for".  How is John McCain what America stands for?  Because he finished 5th from the bottom of his class?  Because he served in the military?  Because he chose a woman with very little political experience as a running mate?  Why is he what America stands for?  Certainly not my America.
