Ok. So when I 1st got the flu shots for my 2 older kids when they were smaller about 2 & 4yrs. old (now their 8yrs, old &10 yrs. old) they got sooooo sick just like they have gotten the flu!!!!!!! I was like wth!!! The purpose of getting the shot was for them not to get sick or as sick as they were. The both of them were with high fevers, they were throwing up all day & night & they were both miserable!!! After that I said the heck with the flu shot & never had got it again ever since. Well now evrywhere I go & hear or see people talking about getting the flu shot & how important it is... but im just not sure. Btw... we have yet in our family to get the flu!!!!!! Yay!!! So why even bother right.

What do you ladies think?

I got the flu shot two years ago for the first time in my life and that winter I was SO sick, all winter long. Last winter I didn't get the flu shot and did much better. This year no way am I getting it.

I think just some people react to it differently.

I personally have never missed the flu shot and will be getting it again this year, as well as Hannah:)  Pro's and cons each way.

I think it depends on the person and the strain of the flu vaccine they give you.  Matthew has gotten it already once last year and one this year.  He reacted fine to both.  He got the sniffles for a day or so and that was it.  Its a chance you take one way or the other.  Even though you are home with Anais, your other 2 may bring something home from school.  You never know.  Ultimately you are in charge and only you know whats best for your kids so stick to your gut and do what you think is right! And dont forget you don't want to get sick during your pregnancy either!
