♥ Just Call Me Santa's Little Helper!! ♥

♥ Well, I just love Holidays and you know I LOVE Kiddos! So one of the most favorite things I have Volunteered for was making 70 Goodie Bags and Snacks for the U.S. Navy Children's Christmas party!

I bought 10x12 inch foil gift bags in Green (Boys) & Red (Girls), I handmade curly bows and name plates for each. I even bought 200 Personalized Porcelain Angel Ornaments by Russ, so I could gift wrap every child their own Angel with their name on it! I still have 100 of them in my Garage!

These were for Santa to give out after each child had their photo taken with him. I also took the photos. These bags were filled to the top with fun things handpicked for their age. Even my Kiddos didn't know about them. I put them together up in our Craft Room!

Each bag had over $20 worth of Goodies! Every kiddo received one and the few that didn't make it to the Party still received theirs. Danny brought them back to work and hand delivered them to their Mother or Father. This had to be one of the most rewording Christmas' I have ever had! So many Happy faces that day, which made my Heart smile! I could do that every year if I could afford it!

When Danny and I were first married back in the 80's I Volunteered at a Retirement Home. That was so heartbreaking and rewarding. I would visit each sweet person there. I would read them their mail (even if it was really old mail) and I would listen to their stories. If there was only a few extra hours in a day to do things for other people the world would be even a more Wonderful Place...

♥ The other day we saw this Gorgeous car at a Gas Station. I just had to get a picture of it. We pulled up next to it and found the most Adorable Couple in the Backseat! They told us that they were out Celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary!! All 8 of us yelled Happy 50th Anniversary and gave them a Huge round of Applause! They looked so so Happy! Danny & I told them, "We hope that we are you in 25 years, Celebrating our 50th!" What an inspiration! I only wish I got their address or email so I could have sent them the pictures I took. ♥

CHRISTMAS IS MY FAV. I GO CRAZY DECORATING AND SHOPPING. IF I WERE RICH I WOULD NEVER GET DONE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!!! LOL GOD HAS AND WILL BLESS YOU FOR ALL YOUR KINDNESS! CHECK OUT MY TWO POSTS AS WELL!

It really warms your heart to give doesn't it? I believe Love isn't Love until you give it away!
