A few weeks ago, Cafemom asked me to create my own Yoplait Save Lids to Save Lives Team.  For each Pink Lid collected, Yoplait will donate 10 cents to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  I was excited and honored to participate, as my mother just recently won her battle with Breast Cancer.  She and I have been working together to collect Yoplait Lids for our team, the Cancer Crushers.  Together, my mother and I have put collection bins and posters at our local grocery store, drug store, church, school and our offices.  We also have other friends and family members helping to collect.  We don't have a large amount of lids yet (only 43 that we have counted so far) and are hoping you can help us to save even more.  It's so easy to do!  Anyone can join our team and help.  Or just save and send in Lids on your own if you like.  Just Rinse, bag, add team code 111922 to the back of the envelope (you can send up to 12 lids with one US First Class Postage Stamp) and mail lids to:

We are using magnets on the refrigerators at work to hold up posters and collection envelopes

Putting stickers on our cars to spread the word around town

and even giving away mugs, totebags, and ornaments as prizes to Team members for their help!

I hope you get plenty more lids. It is kinda hard getting them for some of us. Some are doing really really good but hey every lids counts! Good luck hun
