Oh goodness where to start. I can't believe kid rock has shown himself to be the only responsible public figure(celebrity) I really can't stand all these celebrities telling everyone who to vote for. Such as "diddy", and Hayden P. They have WAY to much influence on young voters to be so absentmindely voicing their vote/opinion. Now I'm all for free speech and stating your opinion. But, when you TELL people to vote for a certain person, with no facts to back up your vote, I think you are being irresponsible. Obama has just become the next cool thing, I hear so many people say they are voting for him. But, when I ask them why, they can not state a single reason. Hey vote for who you want to vote for, just make sure you know the issues at hand. Because again, voting and having no understanding of the election or the issues is irresponsible. Dont vote for someone because a celebrity endorses them, or because your dad likes them, or any other person. Vote for who best fits with your morals and ideals. I am not writing this to promote any certain canidate. I am just at the point where everytime I hear a celebrity say some stupid thing about a political issue, without any real knowledge on it(obviously), I just want to boycott lol. Seriously I am just so fed up. If you want to voice your opinion, atleast educate yourself before you do so. It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak up and remove all doubt. That certainly applies to some recent comments made by a few celebs. Okay my rant is over. If you want to reply to say something dumb, and pointless, go for it. Its your right, just keep the quote above in mind.
Comments:
That hacked me off, too. I SOOO agree with Carrie Underwood, they were badgering her to tell them who she was voting for and she simply stated that it was her business and she would never want someone to vote one way ONLY because that was who she endorsed. I agree that it is so stupid for celebs to get out and push (whore themselves!) for one candidate, rather than the importance to vote. I was severely disappointed in George Clooney and Brad Pitt, every time I picked up a magazine they were wearing OBAMA EVERYTHING! Carrying his biography around, and quoting Obama like he was frickin' Nostradamus! He hasn't even been inagurated yet! He IS a historical figure, like it or not, but he hasn't done anything profound for our country yet, let's not act like he is God!!!! (I voted McCain, too, can you tell?)
ok so i was mostly pissed at OPRAH! she preaches women this women that but when it came down to it instead of endorsing her gender she chose her race which was crap. i haven't watched Oprah since then!

Are you saying Kid Rock was for McCain? Wow, I would have never guess that and I didn't see anyone celebrity wise backing McCain like they were Obama. It was like were are all his celebrity endorsements? Wished it had of turned out differently but I guess all we can do now is pray God has mercy on this country with him running it.
