I went to Walmart this morning and on the way back home I said that I have to talk with her... As I pulled into my complex I saw that her and her husbands car was home... I got out of the car, walked up to her door and started knocking, I did my lil rap on the door like she does mine...lol, lol... and no one answers, I do it again... no one answers, I looked in the kitchen window, I saw no movement, I knock again then turned slightly to the right to see her coming around the corner from the front of the building... She had baby in tow and was smiling... Hey, Mama, she said. What's up? What you do'in? I said nothing, I just wanted to talk with you about Tony and his HW and confirm that he did not have any last night....She said Naw! he did not have any. She went on to say that she had spoken to Tony and told him that he has to go early to us for help.... she said that she knows that we do not mind and that she tells him to ask one of the girls for help.. but he must go early, She said that she told him further that he could not go out to play unless his HW was done...
I said that is great... he can come to us at any time from when school is out til 5pm... they get off the bus at 3:15, that is enough time to get HW done, eat dinner and still be able to play outside for and hour, come in take a bath, eat a snack, relax and in the bed for 8 -9pm.
Well I am happy that we came to an understnading and that she also spoke to Tony.... He is such a good boy, just needed some direction and help to be a lil more responciable in ref to his HW....
