Sweetest Day!

So,We finally got to go out on a date! We havent been out in years without the children,Or at least the girls.The boys are older now,And do their own thing.Shawn has been working 7 days a week,And decided when he got home on Sweetest Day,We would go out to dinner.The girls were with my sister out of town,So it was the perfect time.First he took me to Apple Bees for Dinner,Then he ask me if I wanted to go to Victoria Secert,A place he would never go,But he knows thats my Favorite store.As we pulled completey out of our parking place,A lady backs right into to us.So,That took up a lot of our time,For the night,The girls were coming home by 9:30 pm.After we went shoppping some more.But by the time we got to the next store,We were both so tired,We just wanted to come home.Dont get me wrong ,Going out to dinner with him,Was Great! But,I guess I feel like Im getting old!But on the other hand,We did get some much needed alone time!

Dates just aren't what they used to be are they?  LOL!  Glad you & Shawn got some time alone.  Mike & I are like that too though.  We go out to dinner & then we are usually asking each other...what do we do now?
