A growing movement of women in the US and in the UK are defying medical advice to give birth with no drugs, no midwife and no medical support. Supporters claim its how having a baby was always meant to be but doctors say 'freebirthing' has terrible risks.
I would do this if I could.. but with 4 c-sec under my belt I am not able to...
I do know 6 women who have done this and have very healthy, beautiful babies. Ages range from 16 - 2 (all dif women) some did it a number of time... I was surprised to see it on the Discovery Health Chan....

I would get my medical checkups each month... I should have clarified. My friends sis have their medical checkups and I would get mine also and take my vitamines, and blood tests and such but when it came to delivery they gave birth at home unassisted....and then went to the hospital to be evaluated....they too as I drank the Raspberry tea and other herbal tea... it does help a lot. I have a great tollorance for pain... as you said every woman is dif... some have tried it and had to go to the hopital cuz they could not take it.... I found it intresting and suprised that they showed this for it has been going on for years..... I think it is great...
Ha! the women in the rainforest do not have hospitals.....
Oh no that is not for me. I want the full medical staff right there ready to give me drugs when I need them. I am one big sissy. LOL

I had a c-section with my first daughter, and two natural with my second daughter and my son, no drugs at all. That was the most painful experience of my life, but it is the most natural way. I drank red raspberry tea a few weeks before birth, and it pushed it along a little. There should always be some kind of medical professional just in case something happens, you never know. Every woman is different also, so it would be up to her.
