Today I got a call!!

WebMD Corporation Print Magazine

WebMD the Magazine is a bimonthly publication with an initial circulation of 1 million copies that is distributed free to patients in 85 percent of practicing physicians' waiting rooms across the country.

I did the interview over the phone and it will be in the Dec/Jan issue. The topic was online confessions and they needed a person who had made one. I told her about my experience with Sparkspeople and how it lead to me writing the book Polka-Dot Star Flowers: Real Help for Real People. We spoke quite some time and I told her my whole story. Guess what she said?

You need to be on Oprah!!!

I told her everyone tells me that , but I don't know how to get Oprah to take notice of my book. She said " I will be sending you a copy of the magazine, send it to Oprah along with your book". She said I just had to get on TV. She told me she wasn't pals with any TV people, but she would see if any of her reporter friends were!
