Well I was cleaning the house today looking for my wedding ring (which I somehow found in the CAR?) but in the process found something else that had been missing.  MY HEARING AID!!! 

Some of you may remember I lost it about two months ago leading to this tirade in my journal about the horrors of not being able to hear.  Then after much ado, I was able to purchase a new $4000 set of digital hearing aids launching me into this brand new world of sounds.

And now...  here it was, hiding in the folds of my husband's recliner in the living room.  Man, I blamed the baby, I blamed the dog for the disappearance of that oh-so-important-but-tiny piece of technology.  But all along, it was me that somehow managed to wedge it far enough in that I wasn't able to find it until now. 

Looks like I owe my little guy an apology.  (I'd apologize to the dog too, but he split camp about a month ago).

wow, well now you have a back up set. if you travel or anything, i would take the older set with you, and leave the nicer ones, just in case something happened to them.
