An Evening at the Fair!

After a whole day of rain, the sky was a bright blue Saturday!
Bill had to work all day, but when he came home we all went out to check out a local Fall Festival. It was at a local church not far from home. It ended up being more for smaller kids, so we didn't stay. Instead we headed out to the fair in town.
After living in a small town in Florida for the last 5 years and attending the fair there, we were looking forward to seeing what was to offer in Savannah!
Mary was astounded! For her this was a huge place! The lights, the rides, the sounds, the midway; she took it all in!
Still smaller than Bill and I have experienced, SO much better than Lake City.
In Lake City, if you have twenty minutes to kill you can see everything....twice.
We went right to the rides, of course. Bill and I don't go on them. Too old. Okay, to fat. They'dve killed us! lol
The ground was muddy, the lines were a bit long, the drinks were too expensive...We had a great time!
