So my DH is all about listening to your body and well he isn't much for running distance anyway which is actually great because he is happy to watch DD when I head out for long runs. Ok off track already. So I am training for my first marathon in 10yrs, my first two were when I was in my 20's, now I am in my mid to late 30's and had a baby this year. So I am following a training plan but I noticed this week my hip is starting to ache my feet ache, etc, so I think I need to follow husbands advice and cross train a couple of days. I think is a critical point, I can push through and get injured or be smart not get an injury but perhaps be a few minutes slower, hummmmm, when you write it out seems sort of obvious. I will hit the elliptical tonight and see if the aches begin to go away.
