When my son was younger, I made the costumes, took the photos of him and his friends, cooked Halloween treats......now, I dress up the dogs....is that sad? Well, an 18 year old doesn't need cute food or costume handlers anymore.

Thats one thing I do not look forward too. My son is only 4 and i will cherish  the present while he still thinks i'm "cool" and wants to hang out with me.  Atleast you can start all over again when grandkids are in the picture.

Yikes....grandkids sound great, but about 12 years down the road--- especially a girl. Even the dogs didn't want to dress....with all the Phillies hoopla (don't know where you are, but Philly is crazy, excited these days), and spending the day down at the championship parade, even my son forgot it was Halloween. Now, that is sad...even he seems old, and the dogs didn't even like their hats.......

Try again next year.
