Fried Turkey

The other day DH and I were hanging out in the living room while the boys were playing in their room. I was checking out a man's cook book DH had purchased and found a recipe for deep fried turkey (which we love!). I exclaimed: "Hon, deep fried turkey!" The boys heard this and Ethan called out "Where?" Without missing a beat, DH said "Running down the street!" The boys were a bit quiet for a moment then Zach yelled "Did we miss it?"

They actually took him serious! After we both were able to stop laughing enough to talk, I explained to the boys what we were really talking about. It is moments like this one that make me wish they could stay young and sweet!
